Brazil: Salvador, Bahia

Having traveled quite a bit I have always payed attention to my luggage, but this time as I entered the plane I realized I had lost my handbag along with my documents, cash, credit cards, camera, cell phone and everything that was most important for traveling. I freaked out! This is Brazil after all! What are the chances of finding a handbag with more than $2000 worth of junk??? Luckily I had left it in the ladies room and whoever was the sweetheart who found it handed it in to the lost and found department instead of walking off with it. Certainly this was my lucky day!

At an amazing restaurant my friends took us to where a local chef served us a specialty of his! The following day we went to Morro De Sao Paulo

On the phone with my hubby who was in Paris working ... unfortunately, that smile on my face didn´t last too long when he gave me some not so nice news about our move to Montreal.... Luckily, things worked out in the end.
